Has Fred Durst Found Love Again?
December 1st, 2009 Apart from announcing the name of Limp Bizkit’s new album, Gold Cobra, on his Twitter, Fred Durst also revealed that he has found love again, just two months after the break up of his marriage.

“Life is so unpredictable!” the rocker wrote on Monday night (November 30). “I am absolutely in love! I feel that everything thus far has been trial that has led me to this moment of truth.”

When quizzed by one of his followers, “Who are you in love with? i wanna know,” Durst responded with, “Her name is Alex,” although the tweet has since been deleted (but we saw it!!).

The 39-year-old split with his wife of two months, Esther Nazarov, in late September after the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in July.

1 – How do you feel after returning to stages with Limp Bizkit?
It’s a feeling I can’t explain…We am blessed to be back together. And to get the support from the fans is really rewarding.

2 – We’ve been waiting for so long a new LB material. What are the novelties for the new album? Could you describe it?
Limp bizkit 2010 pure, raw, powerful, emotional and soulful!!

3 – What did you feel when Limp Bizkit was first introduced in Riga after 8 years with the original lineup?
I was nervous, it felt like a dream, and to be on stage in my birth place was really cool!!

4 – Could you explain why The Unquestionable Truth was cutted in two parts? I dont know…

5 – The new album is a fact, will be some colaboration on it? (maybe Korn’s JD)?
Probably not… but never say never.

6 – We heared by some way that March is the possible month of a Brasil date. What do you know about that?
There is some talks but we have to finish the new album… but we as a band really want to come!!!

7 – Is this the last Limp Bizkit album or you will be doing new music for a long time? What about the future projects?
We ARE back for as long as we can play… John Otto and I are making tracks and beats all the time.. we’ll see what that leads to…

8 – Do you know something about Southamerica? What would you say to all the fans in latin america that have been waiting for twelve years?
We have been waiting just as long, we would love to come but it really comes down to the fans letting theyre voice be heard… and thank you for all the support… LB fans south america…. THANK YOU!

Apparently there are rumours circulating that infomation regarding the new single will be revealed in January. These rumours come from fans who have apparently been speaking to Fred via X-Box Live and other mediums. These are just rumours, so make of it what you will.

So we posted some rumours earlier this month regarding the new single. Well it seems according to Fred, it will indeed be released this January.

Some of you recently will have seen that Fred tweeted a picture of himself and Aaron Lewis (Staind) together and mentioned that they were working on music together. Well Aaron confirmed that he recorded vocals for a track on Limp Bizkit's forthcoming Gold Cobra album.

It's Official guys! Aaron Lewis had a chat with his fans on http://www.987fm.com and I asked him about the song he recorded yesterday in Fred's studio.
    He told me the song is called "This Is America" and WILL be on the Gold Cobra. He also told me that Fred is rapping in the verses, whereas Aaron is singing in the choruses. Finally they came up with the title because of Aaron's lyrics for the chorus!
    This is big news!

BLB to Return in 2011 - 01.14.10
   
According to Wes Borland, Limp Bizkit plan to wrap up the sessions for their new album Gold Cobra within the next month or so and will begin touring in April. Given his commitments with the band, Borland has put his other group Black Light Burns on a temporary hiatus with plans to return next year. Borland recently revealed that he has over 20 new song ideas for Black Light Burns already in the works with more on the way.

South America tour in march? - 02.03.10

It really looks like it. Our very own Armpit God Marcelo has found some good news on this website.
Here is the translation:

The same producers that brought METALLICA to South America are planning to bring these 3 bands over here! This is almost a done deal.

That's right! Rage Against The Machine, Korn and Limp Bizkit, three of the biggest names in rock / metal are planning a tour that will last throughout Latin America and that includes, for our happiness, Brazil!

Negotiations had started we had already mentioned here in Liveatu, but now, sources said the site HumoNegro.com negotiations are already advanced, in fact, well advanced!

The producer in charge of the negotiations in Brazil and Argentina try to join the trio to go on tour in March, from the beginning of April in Brazil, Chile and Argentina, the latter in the event Quilmes Rock 2010.

In addition to rumors, Fred Durst, lead singer of Limp Bizkit, posted today on its Twitter "will ROCK Bizkit Latin America.

There you go. A tour with Korn and RATM. Let's hope it really will become reality.

Concert in Florida (April 24th) - 02.06.10

According to their homepage, this years '98 RockFest' will have a very special guest, which they won't (or can't) announce until tuesday. Still they've put a picture up with question marks instead of the heads, to spice things up.
Well, the Limp Bizkit fans should notice quite fast, that this is a well known photo of the band. So you can pretty much say, there will be a concert in Florida in the near future.Here is a screenshot of the homepage, and the picture mentioned.

Another US concert (May 22nd & 23rd ) - 02.10.10

At the end of may, Limp Bizkit will perform at the "Rock on the Range" festival in Colombus, Ohio.
It's not clear yet on which day, but in case you want to see them, you can get your infos and tickets on their official homepage.
There are some other great bands too, like Papa Roach, Godsmack, Deftones or Cold. Worth checking out if you can.

Apparently Wes will be doing a guitar-led remix for a song by Combicrist on their upcoming remix EP.

"Combichrist, the post-apocalyptic electro act that are currently touring Europe with RAMMSTEIN, have announced a brand new menacing club smash in form of "Scarred", the third single from the highly successful album release "Today We Are All Demons".

Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland has spiced up the massive new single version of the track with some smashing guitar work. The hellish new maxi CD features this searing reinvention alongside three other new mixes and the album version of the title track. To top things off, "Scarred" also contains the red hot new track "Parental Content", a perfect appetizer for the new album that is projected for release in late summer 2010.
